INDEED UNIVERSAL, including DELL HP. When the slider is set at 1V, the voltage is identical to the manufacturers charger's voltage. On 230Vline or 12Vdc battery is behaves like the manufacturer's charger. Tested on DELL and HP laptops. Temperature rise is 15C for 50Watt charging power. The case is full metal case with screws; looks good quality. Connector adapter can be with a single piece, or a 2 pieces setup. The first section is a 0 degrees adapter, with a polarized connection; GND is out, always. The adaptor is strongly fitted in the cable. If needed a second section adapter can be fitted for more choices in adapters, like DELL HP Lenovo. The Dell HP adapters have the electronic needed to be recognized by the laptops, that are using a 3rd conductor. The 12V power connector is with a 15Amps glass fuse, 6*30mm F15AL250V.

Покупался для использования в поездках старенького ноутбука Dell Latitude E6410. Изначально пришёл адаптер, который не работал от сети 220В, при этом от автомобильного аккумулятора работал нормально. В процессе переписки с продавцом договорились, что при следующем заказе продавец вышлет исправный адаптер на замену. Продавец обещание выполнил. Спасибо ему за это. Адаптер неплохой, но из минусов нужно отметить довольно сильный нагрев. Мой ноутбук потребляет 35-45 Ватт в зависимости от нагрузки и даже при такой небольшой мощности адаптер ощутимо нагревается. Родной адаптер от ноутбука при работе практически холодный. Думаю, что максимально допустимая безопасная нагрузка на этот адаптер не должна превышать 50 Ватт. В остальном - работает нормально.
